The Royal Botanic Gardens: Victoria Gate

Victoria Gate is the primary entrance to Kew Gardens. The practice built the original building in 1992 and were asked in 2006 due to changing require­ments to increase the amount of ticketing facilities and retail space.

We scheduled the £1.5M works over 4 phases to minimise disruption to the Gardens and visitors. Key items such as ticket booths were prefab­ricated to allow work to be completed within a 6-week window.
