The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew is a World Heritage site and attracts more than 1 million visitors each year.
Over a 16 year period the practice completed numerous strategic and development studies which culminated in the completion of a diverse portfolio of built projects, ranging from the entrance and visitor building at the Victoria Gate, the rehabilitation of the No1 Museum as a museum of Economic Botany and Education Centre, the conservation of a number of the smaller glasshouses and domestic buildings, and the construction of new facilities and catering buildings across the site.
