Royal Academy of Arts, Offices Refurbishment
Piccadilly, London, 2007
6 Burlington Gardens provides around 6000 sqm of gallery, administrative and catering space for the Royal Academy of Arts in a building adjoining their main galleries at Burlington House.
DJA was appointed to carry out a major refurbishment of the back of house spaces of this Grade II listed building to provide office workspace for all of the Royal Academy’s in-house administrative departments: finance, friends, IT, press and marketing, enterprises, education and HR, including space planning and furniture selection.
This involved close working with departmental heads and directors, facilities management, and the RA’s client committee.
