Fleming-Wyfold Gallery

Piccadilly, London, 2002

This project in Dover Street, Piccadilly, involved the conversion of former retail premises into an art gallery on two levels for the Fleming Wyfold Foundation to accommodate their collection of Scottish Paintings.

The project required lowering of the existing basement floor slab, the construction of a new gallery entrance and a structural glass supported staircase and provision of fully environmentally controlled servicing. Alterations were also required to the entrance reception to Fleming’s offices on the floors above.

The project was undertaken in collaboration with Alan Irvine Architect.
