Chiswick House and Gardens

Burlington Lane, London, 2009

Chiswick House and Grounds in West London is an internationally significant landscape comprising numerous buildings and garden structures dating from the construction of the site by Lord Burlington in 1729.

The conservation and regeneration of Chiswick House Gardens is one of the biggest and most ambitious garden restoration projects undertaken in UK, which was been made possible with a major National Lottery Heritage Fund grant.

As part of the design team since the inception of the regeneration initiative we were appointed for the conservation of all the building structures within the Garden including the Grade I Listed Conservatory.

We worked with a wider design team that carried out carried out the landscape and new cafe designs

The garden structures and statuary have been fully consolidated and repaired to prevent further deterioration. These include the Ionic Temple, the Inigo Jones Gate and the Deer House.
